A debit card is a small plastic card like a credit card with a unique number mapped to a bank account number.  Bank account holdings are required before obtaining a debit card from the bank.  The major difference between a debit card and a credit card is that in case of payment through a debit card, the amount is immediately deducted from the card's bank account and there should be sufficient balance in the account at the time of the bank transaction.  The debit card frees the customer from holding cash or checks.

3 Electronic Funds Transfer

Electronic payment method is a very popular way to transfer money from one bank account to another bank account.  Fund transfer can be done using the Atom Automated Teller Machine or using a computer.  Nowadays Internet based EFT  is popular.  The customer uses the website provided by the bank.  The customer login to the bank's website and register the bank account.  ACH(Automated clearing house) transfer request is forwarded to the customer's bank other account and the amount is deducted from the customer's account.  When the amount is transferred, the customer is informed of the fund transfer by the bank.

Sends the data of the payment processor transaction to the card association.  Card issuing bank authorities approve or deny the request.

then forwards to the payment gateway an authority for payment related to the merchant and the consumer.  Once the payment gateway receives this response, it then delivers it to the website to process the payment and the merchant order is completed.
